On April 4, 2015 the Moldovan news agency «Newsmaker.md» posted a message with a reference to an interview with representative on political issues from the Republic of Moldova Viktor Osipov to the “Radio Moldova” in the programme “Loc de dialog” that on April 21, 2015 in Vienna “the negotiations on Pridnestrovian settlement in the format “5+2” will resume”.
Today, on April 3, 2015, a group of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR was returning from a business trip on a regular S7 flight from Moscow to Kishinev for subsequent departure to the capital of Pridnestrovie.
As previously reported by the press service of the State Security Committee of the PMR, on March 31 at 15:20 at a sector of the state border of Pridnestrovie with Ukraine, near the village Novaya Andriyashevka bordering the locality Rozalovka (Razdelnyansky Raion, Ukraine) there was an incident resulted in severe wound of a citizen of the PMR.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR sent a letter to the Moldovan side informing about the decision taken by the President of the PMR to postpone the requirement of the compulsory automobile liability insurance for car owners of the Republic of Moldova until 14 April.
Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR at the instruction of the Pridnestrovian leadership sent a letter to the participants of the “5+2” format in which it expressed the utmost concern over the developing situation.
The leadership of the PMR receives addresses from Pridnestrovian enterpreuners on the facts of the unprecedented and systematic pressure on them by the law enforcement agencies of the Republic of Moldova, bringing about the full-scale criminal repression against the economic agents of Pridnestrovie.
Regarding the reports appeared in a number of Moldovan media about the allegedly certain restrictive measures on the part of Pridnestrovie against members of the European Union Delegation in Moldova, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR informs the following.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR is deeply concerned about the detention of a group of young Russian scientists, flying to the city of Moscow after scientific expedition to the Republic of Moldova, Gagauzia and Pridnestrovie on February 1, 2015 at the airport of Kishinev.
The visit was aimed at gathering by the researchers from universities of the Russian Federation the necessary scientific information and materials that provide an objective perspective on the history and current developments in the wider regional space.
In the interest of ensuring public security and improving the mechanisms of regulation of migration flows, as well as with a view to modernizing the current legislation in the field of migration on 30 January, 2015 the President of the PMR signed Decree No. 22 “On approving Regulations on specific features of migration registration and control in the PMR”
The provisions regulated the implementation of the Decree will be developed and approved by the appropriate normative legal acts of the Government of the PMR in February, 2015.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pridnestrovie carefully read some statements on the subject of “frozen conflicts” made by Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland during the plenary session of the PACE on January 29, 2015.
Two incidents took place on December 19, 2014 in Kishinev, they were directed against the diplomatic employees of Pridnestrovie. The employees of the Foreign Ministry on the instructions of the PMR’s Foreign Ministry were sent by official cars to Kishinev.
Over the past few months the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR has repeatedly informed the public about many obstacles in the field of freedom of movement for the inhabitants of Pridnestrovie, including officials, while crossing the state border of the Republic of Moldova in the airport of Kishinev.
On December 2, 2014 officer of the State Customs Committee of the PMR Subbotin Alexander Viktorovich (a citizen of Pridnestrovie, born in 1978) was detained while on duty in Dubossary District of Pridnestrovie – in the Security zone.
The PMR’s Foreign Ministry assesses positively that the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova has passed the draft bill in the second reading canceling a number of payments made previously by Pridnestrovian enterprises to the Moldovan budget.
As previously reported, during the meeting of the political representatives of Pridnestrovie and the Republic of Moldova on February 7, 2014 in the Tiraspol OSCE Office, the Pridnestrovian side expressed concern over the detention of Pridnestrovian journalists on the Moldovan border near the village Gyrbovets by Moldova’s representatives of law enforcement bodies.
According to the information received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR, the crew of the First Pridnestrovian TV channel consisting of three persons moving to Komrat was stopped by Moldovan policemen near the village Gyrbovets yesterday, February 2, 2014, around 6:30 in the morning.
In connection with recent announcements in mass media about alleged hindrance to educational process in Latin-script Moldovan schools functioning in Pridnestrovie, foreign office of the PMR considers it necessary to draw attention of international partners and all parties concerned to the following principal aspects of this problem.
In connection with the recent comment in media by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the RM Natalya German stating, in particular, that Pridnestrovian representative has attended all rounds of negotiations on DCFTA, whereby, according to Ms. German, “Tiraspol is very well aware of subject of negotiations, parties’ positions, and the outcome of these negotiations” the MFA of the PMR considers it necessary to communicate the following.
As the official web-site of the Foreign Ministry of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic previously informed, on October 7, 2013, representatives of the Permanent Conference carried out introductory visit to the territorial office of the Bureau for Migration and Asylum of the Republic of Moldova located near Gyrbovets village.
On April 10, 2013, some Russian-language media of Moldova disseminated statement made by Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation Andrey Galbur citing position of the official representative of the Republic of Moldova on the need to withdraw Russian troops and weapons from Pridnestrovie in accordance with international commitments.
